Bioinformatics –A Short Course-Led by Dr. Iosif Vaisman

What: Learn theoretical approaches, and use techniques and computational tools for DNA and protein sequence, structure, and function analysis. Students will develop practical skills working with biological databases and internet-based bioinformatics resources. The computer lab will be used; students don't need their own devices.

Who: Must have completed high school biology and Algebra II 

When: June 17-28, Mondays-Fridays from 10-3 pm with a lunch break (lunch is not provided)

Where: Manassas Mason Science and Tech Campus,  Room 304B, Colgan Hall

Fee: $1500 (includes all materials, computer lab provided)
